My name is Ben Utting.

I'm 33 years old, living in Essex, England. I work on an infrastructure team for an insurance company, and I run Study Shark (my tech certification business) and Reset Your Cache on the side.

Five years ago, I was broke, addicted to almost everything, and going absolutely nowhere.

The Rock Bottom Moment

December 2021. I woke up in my shared London flat with the entire right side of my body covered in purple and black bruises. I couldn't remember how I got there.

When I checked my phone, I found a bike rental app open. I'd rented a bike at 4 AM while blackout drunk and tried to cycle home across London. Somewhere along the way, I ate pavement.

That moment, staring at my battered reflection in the mirror, something clicked. I could have died. I could have lost my job. I could have ended up alone in London during COVID with nothing.

That was my rock bottom. I haven't touched alcohol since.

The Addiction Years

I wasn't just addicted to one thing. I was addicted to almost everything. Alcohol. Weed. Gaming for 6+ hours a day. Social media scrolling. PMO. Vaping. You name it, I was probably hooked on it.

At 29 years old, I had to look in the mirror and say: "This life isn't for me."

What I'm Addicted to Now

Here's the thing nobody tells you about breaking your addictions: I wasn't cured of my addictive personality. I just finally pointed it in the right direction.

I'm still addicted. But now I'm addicted to growth.

I'm addicted to waking up before 5:30 AM and seeing those tiny changes in the mirror. The belly getting smaller. The muscles getting bigger. The conversations becoming easier. The bank account growing instead of draining.

I'm addicted to learning. To building businesses. To helping other people figure out what I figured out.

Do I still game? Sure. Maybe once a month if something really catches my eye. Do I still use social media? Yeah, when I'm bored and scrolling on my phone. But honestly, I'm usually not on my phone because I'm trying to be present. If I am, I'm listening to podcasts - Diary of a CEO, Andrew Huberman, Lex Fridman, Tim Ferriss, Joe Rogan.

It's different now. It's not the desperate, all-consuming need it used to be. It's just... normal. Balanced. The way it should be.

My Mission: Reset Your Cache

I help addictive personalities channel their obsession into growth instead of destruction.

But here's what makes this system different: it's not just about removing bad habits. It's about finding those little pockets of time in your day where you're currently doing X, but you could be doing Y. Where you're used to one thing, but you could be something else entirely.

You're not broken. Your system is broken. Your schedule is broken.

I spent 20 years figuring this out through trial and error. You don't have to. I've detailed every step of my system in this book - the morning wake-up protocol, the supplement stack, the HIIT workouts, the meditation practice, the deep work learning blocks, all of it.

You can copy my system exactly. But the real magic? Building your own version from there and us helping you do that.

Forward Path

The Journey Begins

Before, I was connecting with people in all the wrong ways. I was enabling their addictions and problems. I wasn't a good person.

But now? Now I want other people to see that this level of energy, clarity, and genuine happiness is possible for them too.

That's why I post online. That's why I wrote this book. That's why this page exists - to give you as much information as possible so you can make your own choice.

Because here's what's possible now that wasn't possible before: the ability to look in the mirror and actually like who you see. To have money in the bank instead of debt. To have energy instead of hangovers. To have dreams instead of regrets.

This isn't the end of your transformation - it's the beginning.

You were never broken. You were just running the wrong program.

Now you know how to Reset Your Cache.
